The Kamloops and area district (SD&73) covers more than 27,000 kilometres and busses about 4,000 students more than 9,000 kilometres every day. There are 32 elementary schools, one middle school, 10 secondary schools, one Kindergarten-to-Grade 12 school, two alternate education programs, and one distance education school.
The school board serves the city of Kamloops and the communities of Chase, Barriere, Clearwater, Logan Lake, Blue River, Brennan Creek, Heffley Creek, Pinantan Lake, Savona, Vavenby, and Westwold.
We have provided information for elementary schools and the homes for sale in those catchments areas. Catchment areas and boundaries are subject to change so it is important to confirm you have the correct catchment area with School District #73.
Kindergarten Registration

Registration process:
Pick up registration package from School of Choice. Return completed forms to school by 12 PM on January 28, 2022.
Parents will be required to provide child's care card, proof of address, child's birth certificate, and custody agreement if applicable
Registration packages for students with an older sibling will be sent home with that sibling. Return completed forms to school with sibling.
If you have questions, please contact the school directly to book an appointment.
Registration is NOT first come, first served. If there are more children registered than there are seats at the School of Choice, a random draw will be held.
