Kamloops Real Estate Stats: OCT 2020 

Another solid real estate month in the Kamloops market. Of note, the average Single Family sales price is up another 5.9%. However, both total sales and total listings YTD are down from last year which is driving price up.

Kamloops Real Estate Stats comparing Sept 2020 to Sept 2019: Single Family Home in Kamloops.

Strong month of September with a new record for Average Single Family home sale price of $564,708.(up 11.7%), DOM is down to 60days and new listings were up from the month prior. The only negative for the month of September was that the multi family homes are taking longer to sell at 79 days.

Many people have been wondering how the Kamloops Real Estate market has been faring during the COVID-19 crisis and it is not all doom and gloom. While the number of Kamloops Homes for sale and units sold in April of 2020 was more than 50% lower, the median residential price slightly increased and the average days on market remained quite similar to that of April 2019. Considering the world economy virtually shut down for over 45 days so far, I would say that Kamloops Real Estate has played out as predicted.
